West Side Hammer Electric, for the past 75 years, has been an intricate part of the Lehigh Valley community. One of our main goals is to foster the importance of community service; which doesn’t stop at the owners. West Side Hammer Electric has been involved in numerous community service projects throughout the years.

This past year, in honor of our 75th anniversary, we have been involved in several projects such as, the Lehigh Valley Heart Walk, North East Ministries, Habitat for Humanity and the United Way. West Side Hammer Electric has also been involved in the Bethlehem Vo-Tech and actively involved in the Bethlehem Area School District. We believe that a healthy and thriving community is important to the success of all businesses and schools in the Lehigh Valley.

Every year, at the end of September, West Side Hammer Electric participates in the Lehigh Valley Heart Walk. The Heart Walk is for local businesses in the area to come together and raise money to help cure heart disease. This past September was our second annual walk. We would like to personally thank all of our employees and families who came out to walk and represent our company for such a great cause.

This past year many of our employees volunteered their time and talents to help Habitat for Humanity wire two houses on the South Side of Bethlehem. Both houses were given to families in need. We thank all of our employees who dedicated their time to help such a meaningful cause and collectively serve as a great example of West Side Hammer Electric’s commitment to our community.

Special Thanks to the following employees:

The United Way is an amazing organization that gives back to the community. In 2011, we had 90% of our employees donate, which is an amazing statistic, especially in today’s economy. We would personally like to thank our employees for making us stand out above the rest. We truly are thankful to have all of you working with us and helping us donate to such an important cause.
